Today we are going to study about the room temperature and pressure with its important highlights from 10 class new book.We are going to study molar volume and the concentration of solution first two topics from class 10 chemistry new book. We will also discuss some important numerical problems related to molar volume and concentration of solution from Class 10 chemistry new book. We will solve the numerical problems from 15.1 to 15.16.
Highlights:
15.1 Calculate the number of moles of nitrogen gas present when it occupies a volume of 2.5 dm3 at RTP.
15.2 Calculate the volume of 0.5 mol of hydrogen at RTP.
15.3 Calculate the volume occupied by 200 g carbon dioxide at RTP.
15.4 Calculate concentration of a solution in g/dm3 which contains 20 g of sodium chloride dissolved in 0.2 dm3 of water.
15.5 500 cm3 of hydrochloric acid contains 1.8 g of dissolved hydrogen chloride. Calculate the concentration of the acid in g/dm3
15.6 sulphate in grams dissolved in 2 dm3 of the solution to get a solution with a concentration 15 g /dm.
15.7 A solution is prepared by dissolving 10 g of NaOH in 1.2 dmthe concentration of the solution in mol/dm3.
