Vertical Simple Harmonic Motion

Physics Ninja looks at simple harmonic motion in the vertical direction. First the equilibrium position is found, then the equation of motion is obtained using Newton's 2nd law. In the third part of the video i show that included gravity and spring potential energy leads to an expression similar to the horizontal spring system.
