City of San Antonio: Peterbilt 520 McNeilus ZR Garbage Truck on Recycling

Ever since San Antonio bought about a dozen ZRs back in 2019 and 2020, they were only ever assigned to collect organics. In the last year as new trucks have arrived, that has freed up the ZRs to primarily become spares, meaning they would more often be on trash and recycling. I found this one filling in on a Tuesday recycling route and took the opportunity to film, since I had never seen one on recycling before. With ZRs being notoriously bad at packing recycling, many of the drivers here say they still pack yard waste the best. Big thanks to the awesome driver for letting me film!
