"1% Chance of Rain" They Said | Riding to Duty Across Cebu on a Honda ADV 160

94 km, one Honda ADV 160, and a weather app that said 1% chance of rain 🌧️🇵🇭 I left Talisay at 6:45 AM on still-wet streets and rode south down the coast highway through Minglanilla, Naga, San Fernando, Carcar and Sibonga, with a tree tunnel and a quick "nature's pitstop" by the very green fields of Sibonga along the way. At Talo-ot, Argao I turned inland and started climbing the mountain road to Ronda. And that's exactly when the sky opened up. Rain on the lens, wet curves, spray everywhere, and one promise I kept repeating: "it'll stop in 5 minutes." (It took 15.) Once the sun came back I packed the raincoat, uncle style, and took on the Ronda roads: more patches than my old jeans and a free massage with every pothole. A mountain viewpoint made up for all of it. Then it was smooth new asphalt down to the west coast, a coffee and donut stop at Tennessee in Moalboal, and a dirt road to Bucas, just in time for work.
