Let's do Part 2 of my Farum - Høje Taastrup train journey. It's been too long since part 1 came out, so i figured of doing part 2 now.
I tell various facts and stories from the given area of the journey
[Railway Terminology]
I do use the term "up" and "down" later in the video, as well as "fast" and "suburban", because they are terms on the UK railways.
Up = Towards big city
Down = Away from big city
Fast = InterCity or semi fast service lines
Suburban = The lines were only commuter trains run
I also used the american term "Turnback Siding", which means a siding for trains to turn around on.
I specifically used "Skelbæk Sidings" as the name of the S-train sidings west of Dybbølsbro station, because Skelbæk Junction is literally up against the northern side of the depot, making it so that trains get to their "Down Køge Suburban" and "Down Valby Suburban" respectively. Note i also just wrote Skelbæk "Junction", because it's are the pair of transversals on the Down lines, making it possible for trains of either Platforms 5 and 6 at Dybbølsbro to go either way. Hence why i used that term.
I might write a Google Sheet down with all the terminology that i use, for those who are not familiar with the UK Railway Terminology.
