Entertainment system Review: EVA Air has won numerous accolades from Skytrax, such as being a 5-star airline for 10 consecutive years, World's Best Cabin Cleanliness, Best Airline in Asia, and the 7th Safest Airline in the World. On this flight, the overall service was decent, maintaining EVA Air's traditional Chinese hospitality. However, due to the outdated aircraft, the noise during the flight was significant, and the in-flight entertainment (IFE) system had low resolution and slow touch response, which greatly diminished the overall comfort. Compared to the Boeing 787-10 business class I previously took from Brisbane to Taipei, the cabin hardware was vastly inferior. As for the meal, I pre-selected the "Celebrity Chef" option but was quite disappointed. The pork belly was too fatty, falling short of the 5-star airline standard in terms of health, presentation, and taste. In recent years, airlines have been cutting costs, and despite fierce competition among Taiwanese airlines, ticket prices remain high while service quality declines. Overall, the 5-star airline title and Best Airline in Asia designation felt somewhat stretched on this flight. Feel free to share your flight experiences!
