This is a video discussing my time with Outer Wilds, the seminal 2019 modern classic. I examine the game from a design and philosophical perspective, attempting to place it among games with similar mechanics (Majora’s Mask, Deathloop, The Forgotten City). It is also a meditation on loops, liminal spaces, and the distances we travel to arrive where we are meant to be.
