Taru is the story of the relationship between man and tree. Their lifelong relationship is such that man takes whatever he want from the tree and the tree joyfully gives. Through a lively and touching narrative, the film conveys man’s exploitation of nature and its grim consequences – avoidable only if the environment is treated with care and concern.
