Gemini notebook generated video from my self written prose "Quitting: I have realized that life itself is all about quitting. Entering is hardly the decision problem it sounds like. When you enter something, you don't know the future, you don't the outcome. Quitting on the other hand, is a very important decision problem, because you have all the information you need to make the decision, from prior events. Quitting is the entire process of deciding what to quit, why to quit, when to quit, and how to quit. Of course with this idea, I also mean to convey the idea of not quitting. Once you have decided that something is not worth quitting at the current moment, its your job now to try your very best to bring the job to its conclusion. Now, knowing when a job has completed is itself tricky, and that is just another form of knowing when to quit. The process of quitting starts from our very birth, all the way to our death. When you are about to be born, you must quit the womb. Soon after, you need to learn using the potty and quit the diapers. Then you quit mom's milk and take the bottle, and so on. You get the gist. Quitting is not the negative word it appears to be. Quitting can just as easily apply to the seven deadly sins. Anger by itself is not the problem, not knowing when to quit being angry is the problem. Being envious of another is not the problem, not knowing when to quit being envious and channel the envy towards self improvement is the problem. Leisure is not the productivity issue you think it is. Not knowing when to quit leisurely activities and to focus on the responsibilities towards oneself, one’s family and society at large is the actual issue. Being greedy towards anything is not a huge problem in moderation, but excessive greed will certainly ruin either your health, your wealth, your reputation, or your peace of mind. So, knowing when to quit being greedy is a very important decision. Being prideful of your achievements is not wrong by itself, but using your achievements to belittle someone else is the problem. Also quitting being prideful gives you room to move on to the next thing. Excessive pride also has the pitfall of boosting your ego to unhealthy amounts, which in turn, makes accepting failures a question of self worth, and therefore, hard to overcome. Gluttony is the sin that directly relates to the act of not knowing when to quit. If you can’t quit eating, you are coveting excessive food. It you can’t quit drinking, you are coveting alcohol. If you can’t quit any activity or experience, and even emotional states, you are overindulging yourself. "
