BWB Episode 74 | Podcast with Seema Garg - Golden Quill Creative Excellence Award 2026

Welcome to BWB Podcast, brought to you by Brunch With Books. Here, we bring you closer to the authors and poets behind the words. Today’s special guest is Seema Garg, recipient of the Golden Quill Creative Excellence Award 2026 for Poetry, recognised for her evocative poem “Ji Chahta Hai.” The poem beautifully explores the tension between responsibility and the longing for freedom, using poignant nature metaphors and a recurring structure that contrasts “वरदान” (blessing) with a deeply personal, unspoken desire. Join Dr. Siddharth Sen as he converses with Seema about her writing journey, the inspiration behind her award-winning poem, and her message for aspiring writers. Do watch, share, and support BWB!
