Europe Motorhome Adventure continues, Northern Spains Valdoviño, A Coruña & Santiago de Compostela

Join us as we continue our European motorhome adventure along the stunning Northern Spanish coast! In this episode, we explore the surfing village of Valdoviño, discover the beautiful coastal city of A Coruña, and visit the historic streets of Santiago de Compostela. Our journey takes us to a campsite in Valdoviño, where we brave the rain to explore the beautiful beach and stunning lagoon, enjoying some birdwatching along the way. The following day, the weather keeps us in the motorhome until the rain finally clears, giving us the chance to admire the wild Atlantic waves and impressive surf. With sunshine at last, we head to A Coruña, navigating our way through the city centre before finding a free motorhome park-up. We explore the spectacular coastline and historic peninsula, enjoy coffee overlooking the beautiful beach, visit the ancient Roman lighthouse, and stop for a delicious tapas lunch. We also discover the city's impressive fort, marvel at a huge cruise ship in the harbour, and wander through the charming old town with its beautiful architecture and intricate windows. Our Spanish road trip continues to Santiago de Compostela, where we park the motorhome on an aire and catch the bus into the city. Despite the crowds around the magnificent cathedral, we explore the historic centre, enjoy a fabulous seafood lunch at the old market, and return to the cathedral when the queues have disappeared. We finish our visit with a ride on the tourist train and a relaxing walk through the shady park before heading back to the motorhome.
