Divergent by Veronica Roth is a massively bestselling young adult dystopian novel first published in 2011 -- and it just so happened to be my favorite book when I was twelve. I also adored the 2014 movie adaptation that brought the story I loved so much to life. However, it's been over a decade since I last read or watched Divergent.
