Choosing the right colors for a photo feels like pure guessing ? It used to be for me too, now I can find the right colors for any photo in a few clicks, and in this video I show you exactly how I do it, step by step. The trick is to stop guessing and start seeing the colors that are already in your shot: which ones you have, whether they already form a color harmony, and which way to nudge them. I use a tool called the Color Lab to analyze the colors, then I edit in whatever software I like (Lightroom, Photoshop, Camera Raw, it really doesn't matter). If your colors always feel a little random or off, this is the part that finally took the guessing out for me. ⏱️ CHAPTERS 00:00 Why your colors feel off (it's not talent) 01:09 The tool I use: the Color Lab 01:31 Quick tour of the Color Lab 02:02 How to sample your colors (at least 5) 03:10 Reading your colors on the color wheel 03:42 Pure hue: see the color harmony you already have 05:00 The Harmony Guide: which colors to nudge 05:54 Choosing a different harmony (analogous, monochromatic) 07:27 Editing the photo with the harmony 08:10 The before and after 08:45 The full method: The Color Code THE COLOR LAB + THE FULL METHOD Finding the colors is just the first step. Putting them together into a full color grade is the whole method, and that's exactly what I teach inside The Color Code, my color grading course for photographers. The Color Lab, the tool I use in this video, comes with the course. It's not a subscription, so once you have it, it's yours for life. 👉 https://link.louimagin.com/thecolorco... #colorgrading #colortheory #travelphotography #lightroom #photoediting
