Santiago Diaz - Preliminary Highlights Video, 2025, 2026 - Fall 27 - CM, ACM, DCM

Santiago is a high-motor midfielder who uses his strong lower body and low center of gravity to shield the ball well. He is extremely press-resistant, using quick changes of direction and clean short passes to escape tight spaces under pressure. He uses his great lower body strength to consistently win 50/50 balls and disrupt the opponent's build-up. He does a great job connecting the lines, keeping the game simple and transitioning the team quickly from defense to attack. Overall, Santiago is a highly reliable box-to-box player who combines a relentless work rate with great tactical awareness.
