🌀 Hurricane Trudy Could RAPIDLY INTENSIFY – Cat 4 Possible Near Manzanillo & Mexico’s Coast 0:00 Hurricane Trudy rapidly intensifies 0:34 Trudy’s current strength and forecast 1:21 What rapid intensification means 2:07 The warning from Hurricane Otis 3:01 Uncertainty in Trudy’s track 3:55 Local impacts along the coast 5:48 Why Trudy could grow so quickly 7:10 Safety steps for travelers and residents Hurricane Trudy is rapidly intensifying near Mexico, and I break down how strong it could become and where it may go next. I explain the latest forecast, the risk of a Category Four hurricane, the uncertainty around the track from Manzanillo toward Cabo Corrientes, and why Hurricane Simon and Tropical Storm Rachel have made the threat of flooding and mudslides more serious. I also compare Trudy with Hurricane Otis, explain the unusual intensification signal in the Hurricane Center’s forecast discussion, and share practical safety steps for travelers and residents along Mexico’s Pacific coast. #HurricaneSimon #Cabo #HurricaneTrudy 🚨 Hurricane Simon has changed direction: after days sitting off Mexico's coast, the National Hurricane Center's forecast now takes it north toward Baja California Sur and Cabo San Lucas, where watches could be issued in the next day or two. Behind it, Tropical Storm Trudy is forecast to rapidly intensify into a Category 4 hurricane by Friday night — aimed at the same coast Simon already flooded. Simon is forecast to reach the Cabo area as a tropical storm by Saturday, but the models disagree badly. Trudy could approach Michoacán and Colima on Saturday and Manzanillo on Sunday, where at least six people have already died in flooding. And the two storms may get close enough to pull on each other's tracks — the Fujiwhara effect. hurricane simon, hurricane simon cabo, cabo san lucas hurricane, los cabos hurricane, baja california sur hurricane, hurricane trudy, tropical storm trudy, trudy category 4,fujiwhara effect, two hurricanes mexico, hurricane odile, mexico hurricane, manzanillo hurricane, cabo travel hurricane, eastern pacific hurricane 2026,storm desk usa
