Living off Dividend Income: Dividend Income is one of the most commonly sold ideas of Passive Income. The Idea is absolutely TRUE but partly! But a healthy dividend yield of 1% largely depends on the size of your corpus. If your corpus is relatively small optimising for the 1% yield won't really make the difference, and if it is huge than is the 1% yield still relevant to you? Evaluate how your Investments have moved and reallocate between assets to make sure that diversification is still protecting your portfolio. 4. Do you know your Max Risk: All of us take care of the Goals we want to hit but have we planned for what can go wrong? What is more important than investing is taking care of unexpected risks that might hit you or your loved ones. Because staying long in the game is important! If you stay long in the game, luck would one day hit you will get whatever you want.
