On a recent group coaching call, someone asked about how to get out of their habit of judging and blaming and into a more compassionate consciousness. Here's an essential primer for doing just that, based upon Dr. Marshall Rosenberg's Nonviolent Communication (NVC) model. While I'm not a certified trainer of NVC, I do incorporate many NVC principles into my teaching, along with tools and insights from mind-body medicine, somatic experiencing, and integral-relational-cultural psychology. This is an excerpt from my weekly Q&A coaching call, Conversations from the Heart, and you're welcome to join us! We meet on Wednesdays at 10am CT via Zoom.
