A trap can look like an opportunity when you are desperate. In this deeply personal deliverance testimony, I share an experience from my past that almost cost me far more than I understood at the time. What I thought was a temporary solution to my situation became a bondage that lasted for years. I was young, desperate, and focused on what I needed in that moment, but I did not understand what I was walking into. Through this testimony and the powerful wisdom found in the book of Proverbs, we explore a deeper reality: Not everything that is attracted to you is after your body. Sometimes, there is something precious inside you that you do not yet understand or know how to protect. The Bible gives us a powerful warning in Proverbs about paths that appear attractive but lead to destruction. You must learn to look beyond what is being offered and ask: What could this cost me? Don’t just remember the pleasure. Remember the end.
