Bases Loaded ’96 Double Header, released in 1995 for the SEGA Saturn, the only entry in the series to appear on a Sega console. It is a licensed MLBPA baseball game developed by Jaleco Ltd. and published by Jaleco USA. It also launched on the PlayStation the same year. The game features real MLBPA players from the 1995 season, though teams are represented only by their home cities rather than official MLB franchises. Players can jump into Exhibition, Regular Season, or Championship Game modes. Season length is flexible with 13, 26, 52, or a full 162‑game run, while Championship series can be set to 3, 5, or 7 games. The game includes player trading, eight selectable ballparks (seven MLB + one Jaleco original), and optional automatic fielding. Gameplay uses a behind‑the‑batter view for hitting and a behind‑the‑pitcher view for pitching. Pitching is simplified to directional control, while batting relies entirely on timing.
