Indoor air quality inside our homes can be 2 to 8 times more toxic than the polluted air outside. And most of us spend nearly 70-80% of our lives indoors, without ever questioning what we're actually breathing. This video is not a tutorial. It's a confession. For 24 years, I designed interiors. Beautiful ones. What I didn't fully understand was that many of the materials used in almost every interior design project carry real, hidden costs, costs I only began to see after a conversation with a client changed everything for me. This is the story of how I discovered the truth about indoor air pollution and sick building syndrome, why I made the decision in 2014 to walk away from toxic materials for good, and what that decision cost me before it led me toward a chemical-free home and eventually, mud house construction.
