It also examines the relationship between knowledge and character, education and social justice, and the relevance of Islamic intellectual values to the challenges of the modern world. اسلام کا تصورِ علم اور فلاحی معاشرے کی تشکیل اسلام میں علم محض معلومات کے حصول کا نام نہیں، بلکہ یہ انسان کی فکری، اخلاقی، روحانی اور معاشرتی تربیت کا بنیادی ذریعہ ہے۔ قرآنِ مجید کی پہلی وحی کا لفظ اِقْرَأْ (پڑھیے) اس حقیقت کی علامت ہے کہ اسلام نے علم، شعور اور فکری بیداری کو غیر معمولی اہمیت دی۔ اسلامی تصورِ علم نے تاریخ میں ایسے معاشرے کی تشکیل میں کردار ادا کیا جس کی بنیاد عدل و انصاف، انسانی مساوات، خدمتِ خلق، حقوق العباد، معاشی تعاون اور اجتماعی ذمہ داری پر استوار تھی۔ علم نے انسان کو اپنے حقوق کے ساتھ فرائض کا شعور دیا، غربت و محرومی کے خاتمے کی ترغیب دی اور معاشرے میں رواداری، اخوت اور فلاحِ عامہ کے اصولوں کو فروغ دیا۔ اس فکری نشست میں ہم جائزہ لیں گے کہ اسلام کا تصورِ علم ایک فلاحی معاشرے کی تعمیر میں کس طرح رہنمائی فراہم کرتا ہے، علم اور اخلاق کا باہمی تعلق کیا ہے، اور عصرِ حاضر میں اسلامی تعلیمات کی روشنی میں ایک عادلانہ، پُرامن اور فلاحی معاشرہ کیسے تشکیل دیا جا سکتا ہے۔ علم جب کردار، عدل اور خدمتِ انسانیت سے جڑ جائے تو وہ معاشرے کی حقیقی اصلاح کا ذریعہ بن جاتا ہ
