MKYAMA2K EP2 | Siphesihle “Ithemba Lama2K” Sibande: Young People Want a Piece of the Pie!

MKYAMA2K sits down with Siphesihle “Ithemba Lama2K” Sibande for a powerful conversation about youth empowerment, economic participation and the future of young people in South Africa.Sibande highlights the firm demands young people have made to the MK Party leadership, including 50%+ youth representation in municipalities and municipally owned entities. He argues that municipalities have the capacity to fund free education and emphasises that young people are tired of endless training programmes and internships without meaningful economic opportunities. “We are tired of training programmes and internships. We want a piece of the pie!” #MKYAMA2K #mkparty #IthembaLama2K #youthempowerment #economicfreedom #youthleadership
