Kirk Mullen - If I'd Only Said Stay

🎤 Artist: Kirk Mullen 🎵 Song: If I'd Only Said Stay 🎸 Genre: Westcoast AOR / Hi-Tech Melodic Rock / Romantic Pop-Rock "If I'd Only Said Stay" is a heartbreaking 1987 AOR ballad about a man who lets the woman he loves walk away because his pride prevents him from asking her to stay. Only after watching her leave does he realize that she may have been waiting for those exact words. Years later, he still wonders whether one simple word could have changed everything—or whether their love was already beyond saving. Warm electric piano, shimmering guitars, emotional saxophone and a soaring male tenor capture the bittersweet romance of late-80s Westcoast AOR. Sometimes the words we never say become the ones we remember forever. #KirkMullen #IfIdOnlySaidStay #AOR #WestcoastAOR #HiTechAOR #MelodicRock #RomanticAOR #80sRock #1987 #AORAfterDark
