Here's the automated warehouse System Logistics built for Mahou-San Miguel at its Alovera plant, the largest in the group and one of the most advanced in Europe. The fully automated, self-supporting warehouse centralises the site's logistics operations, integrating its 11 packaging lines with the shipping areas. Two main ends handle finished products arriving from production and outbound shipments respectively, connected by an SVL loop made up of 24 shuttles that ensures continuous pallet transport. Inside, stacker cranes handle storage and retrieval operations, optimising space usage and minimising errors. Loading and unloading capacity is supported by 12 bays able to handle 20 trucks per hour, cutting waiting times and improving the plant's responsiveness to market demand. The system is also designed to adapt to future production expansions.
