Extasy - Stabilized Onride - Wiener Prater, Vienna, Austria 2025

DO NOT bring loose articles on your rides with you, don't film without the permission of the ride operators and without using fixed camera equipment while being on a ride! I had both. Safety first everyone. Extasy. Man what a crazy machine. Crazy intense I mean. Extasy is a Soriani & Moser "Energy Storm", owned by Kolnhofer's Vergnüngungsbetriebe and located at the Wiener Prater in Vienna, Austria. This ride is inside an old building, reused for thrills. This is I think the most intense and thrilling ride of the whole Prater. Even when it starts it goes crazy. The main motor and the gondola crosses spin in the same direction for very strong lateral g forces. Later it tils up to 90° for some floating and strong laterals. The cherry on top is the hangtime when the ride fully inverts. A solid minute during the day, maybe even more during the night? When it spins and inverts, then everything goes crazy though. You don't really notice the hangtime anymore because you already hang there for so long and also because of the laterals. The design is brilliant. Intense colors and a wild backdrop for a club styled atmosphere at night will all the lights, fog and more. I love this thing. I wanna ride it again some day.
