The section of Yonge Street within the city of Toronto, running from Queens Quay in the south to Steeles Avenue in the north, is a remarkable street spanning north-south that divides the city roads into their east and west segments (e.g. Dundas St West and Dundas St East). As you pass through the heart of downtown Toronto toward the south end, many iconic landmarks line the street, including CF Toronto Eaton Centre, Sankofa Square, Toronto Metropolitan University, Meridian Hall, Hockey Hall of Fame, Elgin and Winter Garden Theatres, etc. The south end of Yonge Street also passes by Union Station, a central transportation hub of Toronto.
