Suffolk Chillout Competition - 6th Sept 2026

Glider : Avian Puma DXL A short XC on day two of the excellent Suffolk Chillout winch competition. Tricky conditions with max thermal height forecast for just 2500ft. I snuck away from the launch field just before I had to commit to landing and slowly climbed out. Had to search for more lift a couple of times and also circle in zeroes for a bit before landing after about 15km. A great day to finish off a great weekend with friends in Suffolk.
