I’m known for my love of textures, layered papers, fabrics, stitching, and earthy, vintage-inspired colour palettes that feel both grounding and expressive. Before art became my full-time path, I spent 10 years in a demanding IT corporate career. I don’t come from a traditional art background, and for many years creativity was something I kept quietly to myself. While living & working in London, I reconnected with painting—it began as an escape, a small but steady return to something that felt deeply true. Leaving my corporate career was a bold shift, but it came from trusting that quiet inner pull toward creativity—something I now encourage in all my classes — to listen inward and respond to what truly calls you. ● Collage sits at the heart of my practice. I love working with layered papers, fabrics, and expressive mark making to build depth, texture, and story in my art. ● I’m especially drawn to art journaling and bookmaking—projects that feel tactile and personal in your hands. ● I’m fascinated by scraps and remnants — small pieces that might otherwise be overlooked — and I enjoy turning them into something cohesive and meaningful. ● My inspiration comes from nature, travel, old walls, worn surfaces, and vintage, earthy colours. Since 2016, I’ve taught nearly 20,000 students worldwide and led over 700 in-person workshops. For me, art is about more than making something beautiful—it’s about self-expression, discovery, and finding joy. I can’t wait to help you explore your creative side too!
