We Are DC Prep

DC Prep is one of the highest-performing network of public charter schools in our nation's capital, serving over 2,100 students in preschool through 8th grade across six campuses in Wards 5, 7, and 8. Founded in 2003, DC Prep is bridging the educational divide in Washington, DC by increasing the number of students from underserved communities with the academic preparation and personal character to succeed in competitive high schools and colleges. We are proud to be a Cognia School of Distinction (387/400 Index of Education Quality score) and home to two National Blue Ribbon Schools.
