BACKROOMS (2026) Rewatch: Spotting the Details in the Movie & Extended Cut

10 times watching, and we’re STILL finding new secrets! Covering BOTH the original theatrical release and the new extended cut! Today on the channel, we are breaking down A24’s BACKROOMS (2026) alongside its special "Everything Must GO Edition". This is a masterclass in liminal horror from 20 year old internet prodigy turned director Kane Parsons. We follow the terrifying descent of Clark (Chiwetel Ejiofor), a furniture store owner who slips into a reality bending maze of infinite yellow rooms. When he disappears, his therapist Dr. Mary Kline (Renate Reinsve) plunges into the abyss to track him down. We are reviewing the main film and dissecting the bonus footage featuring Mark Duplass, Finn Bennett, Lukita Maxwell, and Avan Jogia to see how the extended lore changes the entire story.
