Delidding i7 4770K

Yes I still sit on old Haswells. Simply bc neither Intel nor AMD had been offering me performance improvement worth spending $$ on new rigs. 1440p is GPU bound and even old i7s are still able to get the job done. It might change with new Ryzens but it's not the thing right now. Recent high ambient temps have been making my i7s hard to cool down. This sample is OCed @4,2GHz with 1,197V and LLC profile set on extreme. Everything else is set on auto. I use 240mm AiO for cooling and as You can all see it wasn't enough. So I've decided to try to fix it. It's not a vid about OCing nor AiO test. I was able to lower my core temps by 10-15C. So I call it a success. Cooler fans need lower RPM to get job done so now everything is even more quiet. PS Nail polisher isn't mine.
