Mahananda Birding – Final Episode | Long-tailed Broadbill, Common Green Magpie & More! 🐦🌿

The final chapter of our Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary birding adventure is here! 🌿🐦 After two days of exploring the lush, rain-soaked forests of Mahananda, our journey comes to a spectacular finale with some unforgettable bird encounters. From the tiny and energetic Collared Falconet to the juvenile Jerdon’s Bazza, Crested Serpent Eagle, Great Barbet, and the beautifully camouflaged Asian Barred Owlet — every sighting brought something special. But the highlights continued… We were lucky to encounter a stunning flock of Long-tailed Broadbills, followed by a fascinating mixed-species hunting flock that turned the forest into a lively birding spectacle. And finally, Mahananda saved one of the most spectacular sightings for the end — the gorgeous Common Green Magpie.
