During the brainstorming process, I was confident that the compromise of both backing guitar tracks consolidated to abide by the channel count limitations wouldn't be noticeable because the bass's mid-highs could serve as a "mask." Fortunately, I was correct. With that settled, I imported my custom FM voices from my Act 1 remix (though the bass and backing guitars are new), tweaked Sandopolis Act 2's bass to sound more square wave-ish, and implemented similar volume settings. Due to user feedback on the previous Act 1 cover, I ditched the Battle Mania: Daginjou percussion for Sonic 3's, even though this is not an actual Sonic 3-inspired arrangement.
