In this video, I continue the Visual Studio 2026 setup series. This is Part 5, where we create and understand our first Playwright test using C# and NUnit.
This tutorial is designed for beginners who are new to Playwright. We’ll walk through the basic code step by step and explain how Playwright interacts with a browser and how NUnit verifies the test result.
*What you'll learn:*
Understand the roles of C#, NUnit, and Playwright
Create a basic Playwright test using NUnit
Launch a Chromium browser
Open a website using `GotoAsync()`
Understand `IPlaywright`, `IBrowser`, and `IPage`
Verify a webpage title using an NUnit assertion
Run the test and review the results in Visual Studio Test Explorer
You don't need prior Playwright experience to follow along. This episode builds on the setup and test execution covered in the previous videos.
