Stiffing A Worker

The plaintiff says he did work on the defendant’s house, but now she’s stiffing him on payment. He’s suing her for the amount he’s owed. The defendant says she never agreed to pay the plaintiff the amount he’s suing for. She claims the price went from $400 to $2,000 out of the blue. She says she owes nothing. Case 29-304
