Did you know you can upgrade your brakes on a TerraTrike to BB7's

Tadpole Smitty and Bro Tater Alan upgrade and install BB7 Avid Brakes in place of the original BB5. This is a fairly easy install that anyone can do if you have some mechanical ability. Be warned that the BB7 brakes have much greater braking power. BB7 brakes are much more adjustable and make fine tuning the calipers to rotors a breeze.
