This walk starts in Harajuku, passes through the Ura-Harajuku area, and continues to Shibuya.
Harajuku is one of Tokyo’s best-known youth fashion districts. Along the way, this walk introduces two different sides of its fashion culture: the pop culture around Takeshita Street and the street culture of Ura-Harajuku.
Natural street sounds remain at the center of the walk, with English captions at key moments to explain the history, culture and everyday details behind what you’re seeing.
