20220626 In and out of cabins, camera tipped on its side 7mins in, so by sheer chance everything is now the right way up, except for divers, which was nice. Apologies for lousier than usual video, my main torch died on the last dive and I forgot to charge it and after the big lecture in the last video about how much I do with my right hand and why I should never put my camera on it, I left the camera on it and added my backup torch so on top of everything else, the camera now does roundy roundy 'ok' signals too. That video and this one are burned out anytime the sun is around, never had that problem before, I suspect turning DCC (depth colour correction) off did it. It's absolutely stunningly good (Paralenz Vaquita) but you have to stop recording, turn the dial to power, and triple click the power button to toggle it, then back to record, then record, EVERY time you go between artificial and natural light. Which you tend to do when you're diving three hundred and forty thousand cabins, often having to pop out of one to get into the next where the walls are still up. Which they mostly aren't as the bottom/inside wall to the internal corridor is mostly gone. With two custom video modes, you'd hope you could have one with DCC on, one without, but nope. The lack of a wall is awesome cos it now gives us access to a gantry into the engine room, which I immediately failed to check out. Next time. 00:00 Start 03:40 Dropping down to promenade deck cabins 05:18 First cabin - kinda all the same after this tbh 07:30 Whacked the camera 90 degrees - now the ship's the right way up! 11:48 Access to engine room 12:17 Cabins and more cabins 17:05 Toilet!!! Mission accomplished. 17:48 This should have been cut out sorry 18:31 A door I don't remember. 20:10 A car tyre in a cabin, back when 185/60 was da bomb. 21:27 Leaving cabins to bow windows 21:50 Descending along the bow windows and out 24:13 Retrieving stage from mooring line
