Replace broken spindle, keeper and pulley on Ariens 42 inch mower deck

I bought an Ariens mower with a mostly broken spindle on the mower deck, and quickly broke it the rest of the way. Now it is time to remove the deck and get a new spindle (and pulley and keeper) in there.
