88EmuPlayer: Sonic & Knuckles Collection [Roland SC-88 Pro]

https://theusualsuspects.io/downloads... https://www.tobias-erichsen.de/softwa... 88EmuPlayer is a brand-new MIDI module emulator by The Usual Suspects based on Nukeykt's Nuked SC-55. It accurately emulates a number of old modules, including the Roland SC-55, SC-88, SC-88VL, SC-88Pro, SC-8850, and the GM modes of the Roland JV-1080 and XV-3080. Here is 88Emu played through LoopMIDI in Sonic & Knuckles Collection. This is port is infamous for replacing the original Genesis soundtrack with somewhat sloppy MIDI conversions. On the stock MSGS Wavetable most players are used to, it sounds pretty bad. However, on the Roland SC-88 Pro, the conversions actually aren't half-bad. Ice Cap Act 1 uses the SC-88 Pro's Standard 2 kit, so it likely was written for this module unless that was an error. Logo: https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/gam... Use falls under fair use laws.
