Aemond Falls as Rhaenyra Takes King’s Landing | House of the Dragon S3E2 Gamer Reaction

Me and Pearish are back for House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 2, “Queen’s Landing,” and yeah, this one is payoff. Aemond comes into Harrenhal doing Aemond things: murder, intimidation, cruelty, all that one-eyed war-criminal energy. Then House Strong reminds him that consequences exist, and suddenly the man is bleeding on the floor looking to Alys Rivers for help. Step on his head? We may have said that. Hell yeah? Also possible. Meanwhile, Rhaenyra finally lands in King’s Landing, and the whole board changes. Alicent gets pushed off the fence she keeps trying to live on, Larys Strong keeps running schemes inside schemes, and Daemon Targaryen’s old Gold Cloaks loyalty turns out to be more than nostalgia. That man walks into the episode like a problem the city forgot it still owed money to. We talk Aemond falling, Rhaenyra taking the Iron Throne, Daemon’s comeback, Alys Rivers being creepy and powerful, Alicent’s choices catching up to her, and why this episode feels like years of planted Game of Thrones consequences finally coming due. This is not just dragon spectacle. This is politics, grudges, family damage, bad decisions, and people finding out that violence does in fact have a return address. Roll for Reaction brings a Gen X reaction and review with story analysis, character analysis, House of the Dragon lore, Game of Thrones energy, and our usual RPG-brained look at stakes, power, consequences, and dragon-powered political mess.
