Putting Down Routes - project film.

Putting Down Routes brought together communities, partners, businesses and volunteers to better understand barriers to access and belonging in the countryside. The project sought to encourage new audiences from diverse communities to the North Downs Way National Trail and Kent Downs National Landscape, as well as upgrading and enhancing parts of the trail so they are more accessible to a wider range of people. We're proud to share what we've learned. Through Putting Down Routes we've worked towards including and listening to people whose voices have not always been represented in conversations about the countryside. This is a short film all about the project and our key milestones. Putting Down Routes is a collaborative project between the Kent Downs National Landscape and the North Downs Way National Trail, working with partners ‪@blackgirlshikeuk8019‬ and ‪@WildWithWheelsCIC‬. Putting Downs Routes is funded through The National Lottery Heritage Fund and Defra’s Farming in Protected Landscapes.
