Girls Trip to Homer Alaska | Lupine Season

Homer Alaska, one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. I try to talk my husband into moving there every day. My Facebook feed was flouded with Lupines in Homer. It was absolutely beautiful, I knew I had to see it in person. So I messaged a few friends, planed a 2 day trip in a matter of a day and off we went. Homer is about 4 hours from Anchorage, the drive is beautiful, and at the end of the road you hit the Homer Spit. We explored the spit, shopped, ate, and saw the most incredible display of Lupines. The next day we headed on a boat tour out to see Orcas! We saw so many moms and babies, big male orcas, and even one breached for us. If you ever get a chance to go to Homer I highly recommend it! Make sure to stop at Boardwalk fish and chips for literally the best fish and chips of your life. And stop at Carmen's Gelato for the best Gelato of your life.
