Welcome to Durdle Door, one of England's most iconic natural landmarks, located along the spectacular Jurassic Coast in Dorset! Join my boyfriend and me on an unforgettable coastal adventure as we explore the beautiful Lulworth Cove, hike across the rolling hills, battle the strong winds and rain, and discover the breathtaking views of Man of War Beach. But the real challenge? Reaching Durdle Door! 😅 From questioning whether we could manage the steep climb to carefully making our way down the steps to the pebble beach, this journey was full of laughter, nervous moments, stunning scenery and unexpected achievements. Durdle Door is a natural limestone arch shaped by coastal erosion over thousands of years. The Jurassic Coast was designated England's first natural UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001, making this area as fascinating geologically as it is beautiful. We finally reached the beach, soaked in the sound of the waves, admired the incredible arch, and faced the climb back up. What seemed intimidating at first turned into a rewarding experience—and a reminder that sometimes the hardest part is simply getting started. 🎒 Planning a visit?
