Not every install goes the way you planned. I bolted a set of Rinehart slip-ons onto the [2007 Night Train / 2024 Street Glide], and they just wouldn't line up the way they should. Rather than force it, bend something, or ride around with a muffler hanging wrong, I'm pulling them off and putting the stock mufflers back on for now.
I've reached out to Rinehart to see what they suggest, whether that's a different bracket, a fitment fix, or something I'm missing. When I hear back, I'll do a follow-up video showing exactly what we did to make them fit (or what happened if they don't).
In this video:
Test fitting the Rinehart slip-ons and where the alignment was off
Why I decided not to force them on
Removing the Rineharts
Reinstalling the stock mufflers
If you've run Rinehart slip-ons on this bike and hit the same problem, tell me in the comments what you did. I'd like to hear it before Rinehart gets back to me.
Subscribe so you catch the follow-up when it's done.
