Season 2 of the Netflix & Shondaland original series “Bridgerton” premiered on Netflix March 22, 2022. The season was adapted from “The Viscount Who Loved Me”, the 2nd book in Julia Quinn's novel series, which focuses on the eldest Bridgerton son Anthony. Season 2 stars Jonathan Bailey, Simone Ashley, Charithra Chandran, Claudia Jessie, Nicola Coughlan, Luke Thompson, Luke Newton, Phoebe Dynevor, Bessie Carter, Ruth Gemmell, Adjoa Andoh, Polly Walker, Golda Rosheuvel, Martins Imhangbe, Rupert Young, Calam Lynch, Julie Andrews and more. Season 1 of Bridgerton was a breakout success; becoming the most watched original series launch on Netflix at the time of its premiere with over 625 million hours viewed in its first 28 days (eventually 113.3 million views, totaling 929.3 million hours watched, in its first 91 days under Netflix's expanded 91-day metric). It was also nominated for several Emmys; including nominations for Outstanding Drama Series and an acting nomination for Regé-Jean Page – with a win for the series Hairstyling. Following the success of season 1, “Bridgerton” was officially renewed for a 2nd, 3rd & 4th season.
