This counterclockwise route climbs the Red Dot Trail to the summit, then descends the Blue Dot Trail past a waterfall before finishing on a scenic Appalachian Trail stretch. It's one of New Jersey's most popular hikes: short distance, real elevation gain, and nothing technical if you pace yourself.
