ECP Therapy, also known as EECP or Enhanced External Counterpulsation, is a non-invasive cardiovascular therapy that may be considered for selected people with chronic or recurring angina. During an ECP session, pressure cuffs are placed around the legs. These cuffs inflate and deflate in coordination with the heartbeat, helping increase blood flow towards the heart while it relaxes and reducing some of its workload.
