hyperMILL MAXX Machining: Aerospace Structural Hinge | EMUGE-FRANKEN | Okuma

In this challenging test setup, we partnered with ‪@emugefrankentv‬ and ‪@OkumaAmericaCorp‬ to machine a structural housing hinge under extreme cutting conditions. The part was manufactured on an Okuma MU-8000 using Emuge’s EvoGrip clamping system to ensure maximum rigidity and process stability. The programming was done entirely in #hyperMILL, using the MAXX Machining high-performance package. Key strategies included: Tangent and tangent plane machining Multi-axis deburring Optimized roughing High-precision contouring These techniques ensured efficient material removal, safe and stable clamping, and flawless, collision-free finishing – even during aggressive drilling operations.
