Aletsch Arena 🇨🇭 | Skiing Above the Alps’ Largest Glacier

The Aletsch Arena is one of the most beautiful ski areas we’ve visited in the Alps. Set above the Rhône Valley, its car-free villages of Riederalp, Bettmeralp and Fiescheralp offer 104 km of mostly mellow beginner and intermediate skiing, with steeper terrain towards the eastern end of the resort. The real star is the Great Aletsch Glacier — the largest glacier in the Alps — which can be viewed from several points along the ridge. This is a wonderfully calm, family-friendly resort with excellent winter walking and plenty to enjoy away from the pistes.
